REDD+ISOSO +V+ MARAE

 The REDD+ ISOSO + V+ MARAE project is being developed within the Indigenous Territory (TCO) ISOSO, located in the department of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The initiative has been built through a broad territorial process that included community socialization meetings, territorial assemblies, and formal consultation spaces with the Guaraní communities.

This process enabled the consolidation of internal agreements, strengthened territorial governance structures, and established the foundations for an integrated management approach focused on the conservation of the Chaco dry forest and the sustainable development of the territory.

The initiative aims to reduce pressures on forest ecosystems, strengthen local capacities, and generate sustainable benefits for communities, under a framework that respects Indigenous autonomy and decision-making systems.
